If your non immigrant O visa is based on being married to a Thai you can get a work permit.

Alternatively you can get a non immigrant B visa through your company.

Also done it by flying to Penang. It takes no time to clear customs and check back in.

Without the stamp they might think you never left the airport.

I flew to Singapore and back in the same day and the IO asked to see my boarding pass.

Just carry the 3 proofs of when you fly in.

20k THB Cash (any currency equivalent of)

Onward travel ticket.

Hotel booking or proof of where you’re staying.
