Border run in Ranong - change passport?

I am about to do a border run via Ranong (exit and re-enter thailand same day) and i would like to re-enter thailand with a different passport i have from a different country (not in order to hide from thai authorities the fact that i have another passport, but for other technical reasons not pertaining to the thais, i can just tell them it's a question of saving pages and using the passport that expires first, if that helps).

I heard this is not possible? Anyone knows anything?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of changing passports during a border run through Ranong, Thailand, expressing a need to re-enter with a different passport. Comments clarify that changing passports is not permitted at land borders; one must fly out and return to use a different passport.

And with those two previous comments I guess the O/P knows that you CANNOT change passports at LAND BORDERS..

You fly out and back in :)

Good Luck

At land border crossing, the other side will check for the exit stamp, you can not change passport. If you like to change you have to fly out, use the passport you enter Thailand with for Exit, change passport during the flight.

Can only be done by flying out and back in. Not at land boarders.
