Currently on a 30 day visa exempt and will extend for 30 days while waiting for funds to season for my yearly non O extension Thai wife. Question is if I get the 30 days at IT plaza Lak Si will that effect getting my non O later at Chanwattana? Or are the considered the same office?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 30-day extension you receive at IT Plaza Lak Si will not negatively impact your application for the Non-O visa later at Chaengwattana. Both locations are part of the same immigration division, so procedures are aligned. You can extend your visa while waiting for your funds to season for the Non-O application, and you only need to ensure you have at least 15 days left on your current visa when applying.

Go take the regular 30 day extension on your 30 day visa exempt entry at the office at IT Square Laksi,

THEN

go and apply for the 90 day non-O visa based on marriage at Chaengwattana at Counter C-1 for 2000baht. Keep in mind there is NO seasoning of the funds required for the Non-O visa. ๐Ÿ™‚

You only need a minimum of 15 days left on your current stamp (30 day visa exempt or an extension from it) to apply for the in country Non-O at C/W.

The seasoning isn't in place until you apply for the year AND after you get the Non-O 90 day visa and run the time down the funds will be seasoned enough

No problem at all. The temporary office at IT Square Laksi Plaza is a part of the Bangkok Immigration office at Chaengwattana, same division, same sub-division.

Not sure what kind of effect you think of, but it is a normal procedure to apply for the 30 day Extension of Stay based on tourism or even the 60 day Extension of Stay based on visiting family to get time enough for the 2 months seasoning of the banked money.

So I can go from a 30 day exempt to a 60 day visit family and then the one year extension. Thanks ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

NO, you forget the first step to convert your stay into a Non Immigrant O visa based on being married with a Thai National and this conversion will give you a 90 days stay.

The conversion does not need seasoned money in the bank, the application for the Extension of Stay after 60 days of getting this visa needs minimum 2 months.
