I know Thai people who are happy foreign people come because it gives them a job at hotels at dental office for people like it's just stimulating the economy.

When COVID happened and it was shut down a lot of people lost jobs. They are happy the foreign people is back.

But when you apply from other countries besides your home country they want to see stamp.

Some embassies you apply online some you apply in person. Depends on the embassy
