I just received my DTV! Will I need to show proof of onward travel when entering Thailand with this visa?
It's a multiple entry visa with 6 month stay. Can be extended for an additional 6 months.
TIA!

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you have a DTV (Digital Nomad) visa, you typically do not need to show proof of onward travel when entering Thailand. Various community members confirmed their experiences indicated that this requirement is not enforced for DTV holders. However, it is advisable to check with your airline for any specific policies they may have.
No, a Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) is not a tourist visa. It's specifically designed for individuals intending to travel to Thailand for purposes such as work, study, or other long-term stays, rather than for tourism. If you're looking for a tourist visa, you would typically apply for a different type of visa specifically meant for short-term visits.
