I have done this for my child. Easy, extremely. I submitted my own proof if funds statement, and an application for dtv 'dependant' category. Paid the same fee as for mine. Dtv issued 18 hours later. Uk london Thai embassy, Visa online. £300.

we are entering from the Uk in Sept of 60 day pre approved (london embassy) tourist visa. Do we need to ensure we dont have this (ม.17) on our stamp? Especially if we decide to convert our visas whilst in country? TIA

180 days per entry, you can also extend in country once but then have to leave, at which time you can leave and re enter, resetting the 180 days. Multi entry for five years. We've been waiting for a decade for this. Good Luck.
