Does anyone know if a certificate of civil union is accepted as proof of relationship for a spouse DTV?

We are not ‘married’ but on paper a civil union is the same. I also know that some countries don’t recognize it as legal. Is Thailand is?

I want my girlfriend to come to England for a month or so from Thailand. I know I can invite her but what does she need to provide or have proof of and what finances do I need to provide to assure that things go smoothly? It's the time frame?

I am aware of most of the legal requirements for foreigners who want to marry a Thai woman and live in Thailand. My question is this. When an Australian marries or wants to marry a foreign woman and have her live in Australia, the Australian Government requires proof of communications between the couple, such as photos together, letters (snail mail - if still used), emails etc. Does the Thailand Government have any such requirements? I have done a little searching online and can't find anything to say that it's required.

Please note; while I do have a sense of humour, I won't tolerate comments that are negative towards marrying Thai women, ridiculing, or insulting. Those people, I will block without hesitation.

Headed to Immigration at CW next week for a Non-O (retirement). Wife filed TM30 on her house and I’m bringing a copy. Have a copy of her house papers too.

Question: I’m staying in my wife’s house do we still need to show a lease paper and make one up or will her house papers suffice w the TM30 receipt? She will b accompany me.

Hi - from New Zealand, here on a Non Imm O (Thai Spouse) Visa granted 90 days on arrival expiring 3 December. I intend to extend this by the 60 days allowable and just wanted to ensure I have my documentation in order. I will visit Immigration in Chiang Rai on 16 November (is this too late?) and as far as I can ascertain need my passport, copy of bio page, current visa, and entry stamp, 1 x photo, completed TM7 form in blue pen, copy of TM30 notification made online, and 1900 Baht. Anything I might be missing? Cheers.

How difficult is this please, also are there companies that can advise and fill out paperwork for us for maybe a better chance of acceptance?

My fiancee and I will be flying from Bangkok to Germany next week. It's her first time out of Thailand. We're well prepared but I'm unsure about what documents the pass control at the airport in Germany might want to see. We have the letter of guarantee, invitation letter from guarantee and from local government, valid visa, "proof of relationship"(printed pictures from the pas three years), vaccine pass, pcr test results. Anything else you can think of? I don't want to risk any problems. Thanks a lot!

I am after advice on my application for visa extension based on marriage to a Thai citizen. I am aware of the requirements, however, there is a slight issue regarding 2 local witnesses from home area attending the office to attest for us.

The problem being that I entered Thailand early June and after quarantine I went to our rented condo in Khon Kaen and then purchased a new property. The purchase is complete and my wife is completing the blue book today so plan to start the visa extension process next week. However, we visit the property daily but have not moved in yet as we have various deliveries of household goods coming and fitted units etc.

So the problem will be getting to meet locals and asking them to attest for us.

In this situation is there another option to provide proof as we know plenty of people in Khon Kaen but just not in that local area.

We were planning on possibly paying local people for their time to attend the office to attest for us, so this could be an option.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
