TLDR : Answer Summary
The question is whether funds from a UK bank account can be used to demonstrate financial capability for the new 6-month visa in Thailand. Responses confirm that it is indeed acceptable to show proof of funds from a foreign bank account, including a UK bank account. However, users are advised to consult the Thai Embassy or Consulate website for the latest specific requirements.

Uk is £300 fee not 10k baht. No biggie, just update info.

If you're talking about the DTV it's five years, and yes you can show proof of funds in your home country

That's easy. Everybody on Facebook these days is a "digital creator" or a "content creator". It doesn't take much to be a "Tik-Tok star"!

Good Luck everybody

180 days per entry, you can also extend in country once but then have to leave, at which time you can leave and re enter, resetting the 180 days. Multi entry for five years. We've been waiting for a decade for this. Good Luck.

A lot of people are being very negative towards this new visa because it's a game-changer. It's the biggest upheaval in Thailand visa history. It's virtually an open door to anyone who wants five years in the country

Look at the Thai Embassy or Consulate website where you will be applying.
