Yeah look into Cambodia. It's much, much easier to start a life there. The country is welcoming to foreign workers and you won't be scammed like every time you have an immigration issue in Thailand.

Stopped 3 times.

Got a fine for "not wearing a helmet" instead of no license and had to go down to the police station and pay 400 baht every time.

Location: Pattaya and Chiang Rai.

Go home. Get a visa for Cambodia and move there next year.

No moronic visa issues, unclear instructions, corrupt immigration officers or complicated rules that no one understands. Just simple, straightforward visas and plenty of business opportunities.
