Hi lovely people 🌞 Does anyone have experience with applying for the DTV from Singapore on the basis of freelance work even when you aren’t a Singaporean citizen? Any guidance and experience is much appreciated, thanks! 🙏

I’m within 2 days of my departure and my O evisa still has not been issued. I submitted it 6 weeks ago, easily qualify and the website still says “pending approval”. This is using the New York office. Anyone have similar experiences? I’m about to panic.

Can anybody guide me in the right direction for obtaining a soft power DTV visa? Specifically going the medical route, as I don’t have much interest in Muay Thai. I’m not employed overseas, I get income from school scholarships. I know I will have to leave Thailand to apply. I just want to have the 6+ months of approved activities figured out completely. I have everything else in line, just wondering how to get the 6 months of the activity.

I am applying for the DTV in Los Angeles. If I intend to fly Korean airlines and have a layover in Seoul, would my last port of embarkation be USA, or Korea, since it asks for that information in the application?

Please no trolls, and thank you for the help.

So I always play by the rules. Dream is a DTV as so much less hassle for my trips. From UK.

Finally got all requirements to apply for DTV. Will do so in London for visit in late March. Ready to apply .

Problem? I’m in Thailand now until mid Jan.

need I wait until I return or if I apply online now will that be dodgy? Noticed?

Only reason to hurry is I maybe changing uk address.

Any thoughts?

So with the new thailand visa rules if you don't care about getting extensions you can still enter a few times a year with your usual 60 days visa-free? or just twice? What about people who frequently visit the country for just some long weekends?

(I would assume it shouldn’t affect them whatsoever but just to be sure)

Does any explanation help with immigration regarding the late 90-day notification or visa renewal? My current situation is that I am bedridden and cannot move, meaning I cannot walk. The travel distance is 360 km.

Hello everyone 🙏🏻

I have a question for the group:

I'm planning to ordain as a buddhist monk in November for over a year and would like to inquire about the proper procedures for obtaining the appropriate visa. Could you kindly provide me with information on the visa that I need? Process, requirements, costs, and processing times?

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice you can offer to ensure a smooth application process.

With Mettā

May I ask one quick question, how to fill out the last port of embarkation in DTV application ? For instance, if I am applying from Laos (came from Thai) and then I planned to leave for Thailand after getting the Visa. I should add Laos or Thailand as my last port of embarkation in my application ? Many thanks !

Heads up for those applying:

I applied for the DTV on March 4th, and received a rejection today stating "*Mismatched date of birth on application (12 March 2025)*". I was told I have to reapply and pay again, and this time when I was filling out the application form, I noticed that when I uploaded my passport into the application, it automatically changed some of the information I already input manually.

It changed my birth date and the passport expiration date. So I'm assuming that this is what happened the first time. So, learn from my mistake and triple check your information before moving on to the next page, even if you think you already confirmed.
