ORIGINAL POSTER
I’m within 2 days of my departure and my O evisa still has not been issued. I submitted it 6 weeks ago, easily qualify and the website still says “pending approval”. This is using the New York office. Anyone have similar experiences? I’m about to panic.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is anxious about their O eVisa not being issued two days before departure. They submitted the application six weeks ago but the status remains "pending approval" via the New York office. Community commenters suggest not to panic, mentioning potential temporary solutions like getting a 60-day stamp upon arrival and reaching out to the consulate via Facebook for quicker responses. Additionally, one person notes that processing times can vary significantly between consulates.

The Chicago consulate took less than one full week so six weeks doesn’t seem right. Maybe clear your cache or use a different browser or device? Not a likely resolution but worth a try. 🤷

Try messaging them on Facebook with your passport number, name, and the fact that you leave in 2 days. They tend to reply faster on Facebook
