Can anybody guide me in the right direction for obtaining a soft power DTV visa? Specifically going the medical route, as I don’t have much interest in Muay Thai. I’m not employed overseas, I get income from school scholarships. I know I will have to leave Thailand to apply. I just want to have the 6+ months of approved activities figured out completely. I have everything else in line, just wondering how to get the 6 months of the activity.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a soft power DTV visa via the medical route, you need a treatment plan approved by a recognized medical professional at an established facility in Thailand. This plan should outline at least 6 months of treatment. Since you are not currently employed overseas and rely on school scholarships, ensure your medical activities are fully arranged before leaving Thailand to apply.

You can't just decide you need medical treatment. You need to have an approved treatment plan of a very minimum of 6 months, preferably longer, signed off by a recognised medical professional at an established medical facility
