Couple of questions about 90 day report.

1. I heard you can do the first one in person but all the next ones online. Can someone give the URL for this?

Hi. I am in Thailand on my DTV visa. I am getting closer to the time of my 90-day reporting. Furthermore, I have international driving license, but it is valid only for 3 months in Thailand after crossing the border. I was planning do the reporting and converting my license to Thai one and do 90 days, but there came an opportunity for a border bounce.

Here is my question: I will be in Chiang Rai soon. Is it a good option to do a border bounce to “reset” 90-days and driving license? If so: do I just need to exit Thailand and do I have to come into Laos? If so, for how long do I need to enter Laos?

1h drive sounds tempting in comparison to 3 days spent in Thai immigration and other offices ;-)

Re Phuket Immigration office 103 for EoS (Extension of Stay).

I just visited the office and asked for the actual and detailed list of requirements for our 2nd application for the one year EoS based on non-immi O 90 days retirement visa. I got the list with some handwritten added points (see screenshot, last point no. 10 was already cut off from the office, but I know what it says ;) ).

Here my question: No. 3: quote: "Updated your address at room 101 or Drive thru before extension".

What does this mean? I already have updated TM30+90 days report/approved slip in my passport. Do I need an additional Certificate of Residence for the application?

Hello and good day,

I need to convert my visa exempt entry into a non-immigrant "O" extension based on taking care of a Thai child. I've got all the bits required and, if I go to CW on Monday, I'll have enough time before my current stamp expires to apply.

Do I need to make an appointment or can I just turn up with all the documents and my child on Monday and queue up ?

Need help on one. Got my passport back from the agent yesterday. I need to leave next week to the United States for two weeks. Do I need to get a re entry visa or do I have one already. I have no problem paying for one. But if I already have it that would be great. Thanks

Hello,

I have found a new job. I am currently on a non-O (Guardian = accompanying my Children on non-ED) Visa.

I will need to

1- get a non-B visa for myself

2- Later, change my spouse's visa and children's visa so they get non-O linked to my non-B.

QUESTION:

Could anyone please confirm if I really need to first go to Immigration here to cancel the existing visa, before going abroad to a thai consulate to get the new visa ?

I keep getting different answers .

Thanks a lot.

Do I get an extra 90 days permission to stay when a tourist visa converts to a "non B teacher" visa?

My school is telling me yes, but I can't seem to find it documented anywhere. I'm just nervous and don't want to scramble last minute if this isn't true.

Details:

I'm USA passport. On a 60 day eVisa.

After they help me get converted to non-B, they will apply for work permit.

I am living in Bangkok on a retirement visa. I have tried to apply for my 90 day report online but I keep getting rejected. No reason given and I have tried a number of times.

Also, am I required to provide a TM30 for my third 90 day report if I attend in person? I don’t see any information that says you do?

I am on a non-immigration O visa that expires on 4 April 2024. I was in the United States for a few months, and when I returned to Thailand last week, the immigration officer stamped my visa with an expiration date of 22 June 2024. He said I could stay with the non-O visa for 90 days, which would be better than a 30-day tourist visa.

I recently got hired by a Thai company that is willing to sponsor my work permit (non-B visa). The company’s lawyer says I should have gotten a 30-day tourist visa because we cannot change a non-O visa to a non-B visa at the Bangkok immigration office. He suggests I go to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and request a 30-day tourist visa.

It seems odd that I cannot change from Non-O to Non-B from within the country. Is this true?
