What visa should a wife apply for while her husband applies for the long-term O-A Visa in Thailand?
Can anyone help with long term O-A Visa application? We are both over 50 and husband is retired military (covers the financial requirement) and wife does not work. What type of visa does the wife apply for and when? Is it after the husband be approved? or Does the wife apply at the same time? Thanks in advance.

I had got the same day service. They come and pick you up to take you to the bank and get you a bank account open then take you to immigration where they do there magic. Then you have your non o retirement visa by the end of the day.

Once the 12 month Non-OA application has been approved the wife could apply for a 90 day Non-O visa based on being their dependant. They would need to apply for an extension of stay inside Thailand which would be aligned with the husbands permission to stay, so both would need to attend the local immigration office

when it comes to the annual extensions, does the person on the Non Immigrant O have to prove finances of 800k or 65k monthly income? Obviously the partner on the Non OA will.John **********
