Can a content creator/freelancer with little income obtain a DTV in Thailand?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone here received a DTV as a content creator / freelancer with an established social media presence but little or no income from it yet?

Just to clarify: I will meet the other DTV requirements, including the financial requirement. My question is specifically about the professional proof/portfolio and whether little or no current income from the social media activity could be an issue.

I have around 30,000 followers across my social media accounts, including 20,000+ on Instagram. The accounts are active and organically grown, and I can provide analytics, backend screenshots, websites and proof of ownership.

I’m mainly interested in experiences from people who applied through the Thai Embassy in Budapest.

Did your social media portfolio alone work, or did they also ask for invoices, clients or proof of income?

Would really appreciate any first-hand experiences. Thanks!
