Sorry, just one question: can anybody confirm that AIA insurance is not on the immigration list of accepted insurances for a non OA? What about AXA?
Answer summary
The question seeks confirmation about AIA insurance not being listed as an accepted insurance for the Non-OA visa in Thailand, while also inquiring about AXA's status. Community comments indicate that AXA is accepted and has been used successfully by individuals with a Non-OA visa. Alternatives like Pacific Cross are also mentioned, noted for being cheaper. Discussions revolve around the nature of policy coverage and costs related to these insurances.

How good is the coverage, and price, of these insurances for the non OA?

OP
Lynnette Munoz Sorry, but I think I should tell you that Mr. Smith has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. The policies offered are the same the companies give you when you don't need them for your visa. They vary from (too) basic and cheap to deluxe ones and you choose according to your individual needs.

Michael Matz maybe he means you can buy basic if you want, when applying for visa. . 🤷

Lynnette Munoz Maybe, but then he should improve his phrasing.

Lynnette Munoz It's the bare minimum to satisfy the visa requirements. People generally only buy these policies because their visas require it.

Don Smith ah, thought maybe AXA were ok. Personally I'd not use the non-OA method with police checks, health checks, insurance.
