Hi all, looking at the non O-A visa and was wondering who is best for the medical insurance I have looked at AXA and that looks pretty good. Are there cheaper or better ones?

I know it depends on the level of cover and the level of excess you can tolerate. Thanks for any advice 🙏🙏
Answer summary

AXA is frequently mentioned as a reliable and dependable option, with positive feedback from users. Other options suggested include Pacific Cross and Cigna Global, with advice to consider personal health status and seek an insurance broker for tailored options. Mate a Non-0 visa is best and AXA is really good and dependable, should you need it. Like all insurances, very dependent on your health, as for excess, don’t be tight as you may need it for something small and the excess is greater than the cost of being treated as I know when I had a £300 excess and treatment was £270 and I couldn’t bribe them to make it £300 😂😂

We used AXA about $300 AUD each. We will probably never use it. Just got it to fulfill visa requirements.

Try contacting an insurance broker and they will help with finding the best option for you. I use one in Pattaya for my car insurance and they always look for the best options. They do medical insurance and house insurance as well. Good to know what the options are.

It depends upon your age and the present state of your health. You won’t know how much they will charge you until you have a physical.

Check out Cigna Global for Thailand residents.
