Any experience on which embassies require notarized bank statements to show proof of 500.000 baht for DTV? Or are most ok with a print out (or electronic pdf) thanks!

Just applied in Taipei this morning. Was asked to return to get the result at 3p. Showed up early and was told I was approved around 2:30p. Back tomorrow at 4pm to pick it up. Line was really short today being that they were closed yesterday. In and out this morning in 30-40mins.

Hello

Has anyone tried to apply for a spouse dtv visa, by showing an official and notarized document from your home country, stating that you are spouses without marriage? Our home country acknowledges such relationship and considers it equal to marriage.

If you have such experience, especially in Vietnam, please share!

Thanks

Laos VS Cambodia - do you know which embassy is more relaxed in term of requirement for translated/notarized documents?

DTV Application Embassy Hanoi:

Got an email with the answers to my questions. I own a company so didn't ask how it works with employment contracts. I also did NOT ask about the funds because thats obvious to me how to proof that.

1. Visa processing time approx. 3 working days

2. notarised company registration papers as proof of work

3. document that shows booked doctor appointment

(asked about soft power as well)

4. visa stamp in passport accepted as proof of location

If anyone applies in the next weeks or months, I'd love to hear how it went. Planning on going to Hanoi mid November.

Cheers ☺️

I’ve spent hours trying to research and tried to call the UK Thai embassy multiple times- the phone just rings and rings for hours!

Travelling to Thailand Solo with my son- we have different surnames, I always carry his birth certificate and never had any issues. Would a consent letter from his father be sufficient or does this need to be notary stamped and legalised through the embassy?

Hello all, trying to open a bank account to deposit money to obtain my O-retirement, however, am being asked for a form from the US consulate verifying my passport. Sent an email but got no reply. First appointment is in mid July as I chose assuming notary service is required. Although it states on the Consulate website they do not provide any service to allow for the opening of a Thai bank account. Any suggestions or thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Any advice appreciated.
