Do you think Thai immigration will be bothered if a family turns up with the parents holding DTV approved stamps but the kids not on the DTV with them (meaning the kids will get visa on arrival)?

hi, I entered Thailand on June 9 and reported tm 30 on the same day. time flies n I hv made an appointment for tm 47 in person next Monday Sept 9 .

I just remembered the check out day for tm 30 is Sept 6 because by the time I filled in tm 30 I thought there would be a trip out of Thailand before that but canceled. my concern is there is a gap period of a few days uncovered. will there be a problem ? should I just leave it or report tm 30 agn to cover those few days?

Just passed immigration at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, and got normal 30day entry in my UK passport (no visa).

I don’t need 60 day this time, so did not challenge it.

Hi all. I have been in Thailand on a TR visa for 60 days and just extended 30 more.

I want to stay just a couple of months more. The question is if I fly to Cambodia on the last day of my visa, Can I fly straight back to Thailand the same day? I will then enter on a visa exemption and then will extend that once more before returning back to the Uk.

Yesterday I went to Jotiemm to extend my tourist visa. I got the paperwork and then went to the photo and copy place in the photo below. The lady who owns it charged me 100 BHT for 4 photos and 30 BHT for 6 copies. She then put all the paperwork together and helped me fill it out. Then advised me to come back to immigration tomorrow at 8am. It was late afternoon noon at the time. Showed up today at 8am. Since I had a receipt in my passport from getting my driver's license last month. That proved my address. They didn't need me to do a proof of address form. So they gave me a number I went into immigration. I was number five. I waited about 15 minutes and they took my passport and my 1900 BHT. Then I went outside, waited and finally got my passport after about a half hour. And I was out of there in a total of 50 minutes. Just so you know My visa was expiring on the 24th but they did it today before the 7 days or even 10 days. So now I have 30 more days in Thailand and I have to leave on the 25th of July. Be honest that lady at the copy center really helped me out so I went and bought her three kilos of Mongo's. Cost me 80 BHT.

German Passport holder here (35years old/early retired because of health problems), staying in Bangkok.

I arrived on 18.Nov 2022 with a 60 day tourist E-visa and planing to stay in Thailand till middle of may 2023(depature flight already booked).

When i arrived in BKK, i had problems entering, because i stay in thailand to often and too long and the immigration officer told me, i need to book a flight out of thailand in 60 days, which i did at the airport, after i could enter.

They told me, that i´m not a tourist and that i will have problems again, when i arrive to thailand next time. They said i have to marry my girlfriend (she has been in germany 3 times already), if i want to stay in thailand for longer periods of time.

In all the years i come here, i never had 1 day overstay or any problems with police or immigration. I always obey the immigration rules, only did two visa runs in 2016/2017. I don´t work in thailand, i get retirement pension and live off savings. I´m living with my thai girlfriend together.

All that, i also told the immigration officer at BKK airport.

My passport is full of stamps from different countries, because i travel a lot.

I will extend my 60 day e visa for 30 days in january and in february i´m planing to do a 2 week vacation in some other SOA country with my girlfriend together. After the 2 weeks we will come back to thailand and i´m scared now, that they don´t let me enter.

What are my options? i need to stay in thailand till middle of may, because my family will come for visit in april and they already booked their vacation.

I will likely enter Thailand after my 2 week vacation through BKK airport. Is it better if i use VIP service there, so i won´t have problems at immigration? Or should i book an extra flight after my arrival, from BKK to some other airport in Thailand and enter there into the country?

One other option would be, that i do 2 borderruns to cambodia, one in february and one in late march (to get the 45 days visa on arrival). But the immigration officer told me, that i shouldn´t do any borderruns, because this will lead to more problems when i arrive next time to thailand via plane (i´m planing to make a new passport anyway when i´m back to germany, because this one i´m using is almost full).

here is my travel history from the last "2 years" in thailand:

arrival feb 2021 depature august 2021 (5 month) (2 or 3 covid extension stamps)

arrival march 2022 depature june 2022 (3 month)

arrival nov 2022 depature xxx (feb 2023) (1,5 month + 1,5month in 2023)

So what is the best option for me, that i won´t have any problems entering thailand again in march and continue my stay till may 2023? (my girlfriend will be traveling with me. it helped before, that she could talk with the immigration officers in thai, because they don´t believe me, that i´m retired, even i showed them proof of it).

I am planning to come to Thailand on Non-immigrant category O visa (90 days).

Since I have to get 400k from India and open a bank account, it might take few days and then I will have to park the money for 2 months before applying 1 year extension which will be somewhere in first week of 3rd month. So wouldn’t it be a little late as my visa expires on 90th day and immigration will take 1 month to consider the extension?

Would I be overstaying in that case or it doesn’t count since the visa is under consideration?

I arrived on a 30 day exempt visa. It has since been extended to the 9th of April in Surat Thani.

I went to Phuket immigration (main office) to convert to O visa. (90 day)

Attached is what is needed.

(I don't know how tourists can come here to convert and open bank accounts).

I completed all my needed docs. I sat with the officer who questioned me about not having a lease or house docs. All i had was a letter from my hotel. (i am staying in hotels until i find an area I like).

I paid the 2000 baht and waited until my passport was ready.

15 mins later they handed back my unstamped passport and said "come back on the 11th of April" . (9th falls on a Saturday).

I asked, “that date will be over staying my visa". They said "do not worry, come back, bring receipt and you'll get your visa".

Is this normal or should i have received a stamp on the day?

Quick question I hope someone can help with…

I plan to arrive in Thailand visa exempt 30 days on Feb 28th at 06:30.

Leaving March 29 @ 20:30.

So technically in Thailand 30 days and 14 hours before my flight back.

My wife here is saying “No Problem” as long as it’s before 12am.

Would like a 2nd opinion from someone that knows for sure as I don’t want to be denied Thai pass over this.

Today I go MTT for extend visa covid19 at 09.55 am ,only 9 person there ,so few minute waiting check document and inside for paid 1,900THB and waiting my pasport finish 10.35 am and get 60days and on 12 Jan 2022 back again for extend again.Thanks Immigration Thailand😀😀
