Looking for clarification on how to fill out my application for the DTV visa, applying in Jakarta:

For “current address” - is that my hotel in Jakarta, the house I rented in Thailand (rented until next year), or or my permanent address back home in USA? — if I should put my Thai address, then I assume the next question, “Permanent address, if different from above” should be answered with my permanent address in USA?

For “date of previous visit to Thailand: would I answer with my last entry date or exit date?

I have a USA passport - How should I answer “countries for which travel document is valid”?

And finally, for “Name and Address of Local Guarantor” and “Name and Address of Local Guarantor in Thailand” — do these need to be filled in?

Thanks in advance for reading and any clarification you can provide!

May I ask for help filling that part of the visa application form please ?

‘Countries for which travel document is valid’

Am I supposed to list all countries where my passport is valid? I feel confusion

‘Local Guarantor’

Are we supposed to have one to request for a DTV?

We have an adress for our 6 months stay but no guarantor.

Thank you 🙏🏻

I’m apply through Ho Chi Minh and have a few questions on how to fill this form out.

In the red box is asks for:

-proposed address in Thailand

-name and address of local guarantor

I currently don’t have either a proposed address in Thailand or a local guarantor. Did people just leave this part blank or how did you navigate it?

Please also add what location you did your application as it helps others searching for answers

I'm trying to fill out the application for a non O visa (for retirement), not easy. Date of arrival in Thailand – do I just estimate given that the visa will be valid for 90 days once issued? Travelling by and Flight no – also do I estimate? Is retirement classed as tourism? Name and address of local guarantor – who is this? Countries for which passport is valid? World? The Embassy's covering letter also requests insurance for duration of stay which will be 90 days, or will it? as the visa is for 60 days renewable in-country. And start date of insurance? Should I book a one way ticket? Also, how long does it normally take an embassy to process the visa? Sorry for all the questions and many thanks in advance

When applying online for STV (from Australia if that makes any difference), what does it mean by "Local Guarantor in your area" and "Guarantor in Thailand (if applicable)"?

Hi. I have a question about the visa application forms.

1. There are a few fields regarding flights -- date of arrival, travelling by, and flight no. or vessel's name. Does this mean I need a flight booked before I even know if my application is accepted/denied? Can I just put in desired date?

1. There are fields regarding proposed address.. again, do I need to book a place to stay before I even know if I'm allowed into the country or put down a desired place of stay?

1. Name and address of local guarantor and guarantor in Thailand..?? How do I fill this in without knowing anybody in Thailand? What do I put there?

Hello, I have been looking at the SETV applications from the Yangon and KL consulate sites and have a couple (hopefully simple questions.

(first off, US passports, currently staying in Phuket)

1) they both ask local guarantor and guarantor in Thailand information. What would this be?

2) the KL checklist asks to have proof of reservation/accommodations for the 'whole of stay in Thailand'

--so.. that wouldn't be a TM30 issue? if we are renting a place would a copy of the lease be sufficient?

--now if that lease happens to go past the date the SETV would be good for, will that cause problems?

(long story.. but in end we really needed a place that took pets short notice and this was cheap enough (and nice) we could risk having to pay rent for a place we didnt end up staying the whole time)

debating which place to use.. Yangon seems easy and we haven't been there before but flights are more expensive than KL.. but we've been to KL... hmm.. (that's just a side comment, mainly concerned with questions 1 & 2)

Hi All

Thanks for the add I used to be a member over a year or more but left as plans changed and my husband was ready to retire then. He is now ready and we are planning to move to Phuket early April, I have the paperwork from the Thai Embassy in Australia.

We are applying for a Retirement Visa multi entries.

I am confused with some of the questions on the application

Question 18 - asks for name and address and contact details of Local Guarantor.

Question 17 - Also can we use the address of the hotel we are staying in for 3 weeks while we find find a hose.

Question - 14 What date do you use for date of departure when we don’t know.

Question - 15 duration of purposed stay in days.

Thanks for your help.

Yvonne
