TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a tourist visa back to Thailand while in Vientiane, you should plan for a stay of at least two to three days. Make sure to book an appointment for your visa application, which typically has a processing time of two to three working days. Some recommend using a visa run agency that can help with travel and accommodation arrangements for around 8,000 THB. Additionally, ensure you have all necessary documents ready for a smooth application process, including details regarding a local guarantor.

What do I write in the visa application fields: Local Gurantor in Laos and Thailand, the name of the hotel is enough?

in application you don't need anything for guarantor in Laos. And Thailand your gf or wife

And process time is like you go in on Wednesday you get it afternoon Friday

Just gave all the papers ready or they send you out to fix new copy.

(copy place outside by the coffee place)

They only accept baht (1000 baht) not kip. If not you can exchange with a guy there but he charge some extra around 750k kip for 1000 baht

Don't care about queue number since no system on that whatsoever just come early then you are finished early

Russians or Ukraine people are very rude keep trying to skip to queue and very few people tell them off.

Don't forget to book an appointment

Two nights will do it if you have an appointment but it’s a nice place to spend a few days and check it out

you need to book an appointment. The approval process takes two to three working days, that's what their website said as far as I remember

3days only, it would be better if you join with visa run agency, I can recommend one for you just DM me, their Charge is 8,000THB the inclusion on this package is your round trip travel, 3days and 2 nights hotel booking and Meals. They provide also the necessary documents for you. just follow their instruction.

Not sure about turn around times there, but 100% you’ll need an appointment to get in.

If they’re like other SE Asia consulates then it’s usually apply morning of day one and collect afternoon of day two.

I’ll let others confirm if that’s the case as I’ve never been there.
