TLDR : Answer Summary
As of now, the Thailand Arrival-Departure Card (TM6) is no longer needed for arrivals by air. This card has been suspended for air travel for nearly a year, with travelers now only required to present their passport and boarding cards. However, for those entering Thailand through land borders, the TM6 is still necessary. This has led to some confusion regarding the documentation requirements when entering and exiting the country through different modes of transport.

If you arrive into Thailand via Air, then no need for a Thailand Arrival-Departure Card (Form ตม. 6). However, if you arrive into Thailand via Land, then you still need a Form ตม. 6
you don’t. When ENTERING Thailand by land borders you fill in the TM6. TM30 is for notification of address to the immigration in the province you are staying
ok never done land borders before. So you enter by air and go out by land and they want to see tm6 but you have tm30 correct? You cannot show them something you don't have.
Eg fly out to Phnom Penh and come back by the bordrr
do you know why they stopped doing the TM6 when arriving by plane into an airport, but decided to continue with the TM6 at land borders?? I'm Just curious, doesn't seem to make any sense.
