Hello,

This is a post about the STV.

I am currently in Thailand, arrived in May with a TR Visa 60+30 and using Covid amnesties.

I am going back to France for Christmas for 2 weeks and intend to come back to Thailand just after new year with a STV for 9 month.

-Can I already apply to the STV using eVisa before I "stamp out" of Thailand ?

-I would appreciate advise/cost on the long stay STV health insurance, list given on https: //longstay.tgia.org is not comprehensive

Thank you

Hi, as my 1st Covid amnesty related to my NON-B is running out on 6th of October. Do I need to wait until they announce the new round of extension (in July they did this around the 16th if I remember correctly) and go in Or should I go in before the 27th as the moderator kindly pointed out (will then they issue a extension dating from the 6th) thank you for the kind help.

Good afternoon all.

I have got a couple of questions regarding my stay in Thailand.

I am here on a 60 day TR Visa. Still one month to go before my 30 day extention.

I am planning to extend my stay.

What are my options?

Was thinking of 1 one year education visa.

Is it possible to obtain ED visa within the country? If yes are there any good schools around Chiang Mai?

It also crossed my mind to wait wether the Covid amnesty will be extended.

Thank you for your answers.

When switching from an ED-visa to a covid amnesty, with all the required documentation....Do you get 60 days from when your ED visa ends or from the day you apply at immigration?

A Chinese guest on a one-month stay in Chiang Mai is asking for a tenancy agreement/contract so that they can extend their stay - based on Tourist (Co-vid amnesty). I thought a TM 30 was sufficient. Their information was based on Immigration office in Chonburi. Any advice?

Hi all, I apologise if this has been covered but I am on covid amnesty with a job offer. My stamp is under consideration at the moment and I will go back on 6th October for the stamp. My question is has anyone converted from a amnesty stamp to a Non immigrant visa whilst in the country? Thanks in advance.

Just checking my visa ran out couple days ago. Do i need to go to immigration and do or get something in regards to the COVID or is it automatic that I am now on the amnesty?

Because I remember when this amnesty was given. They just said don't go to immigration everybody is extended if your visa had finished after the date they chose. Just want to check that I am not on overstay?

Has anyone been able to get their Non-B done from previously being on the extended "Covid amnesty" visa? ...I've been told you need to be on a tourist visa in order to transfer over(?). As this is not possible without leaving the country (an that's not possible). Is there another way around this? Thank you.

I entered Bangkok on a 90 day TR visa valid until 16th June. Entry stamp says “Admit until 17th May. Having previously had Non-Imm O visas, since expired, my intension was, is, to re-apply for the Non-Imm O.

I was intending to start the process next week, but now with the Covid amnesty being extended until 31st July, I wonder whether it is necessary to do it in the intended time, or hold off until June, thus taking advantage of an extended visa time. Thanks

Either way matters not too much, I don’t want to implicate myself in “using” the system which may be detrimental later on.

I have the required bank funds, bank letter etc.
