Hi. I went to CW to cancel my extension of stay stamp (cancelled it due cancelled work permit) and applied for the 60day covid amnesty stamp. I got a consideration stamp of Nov 23. My questions are:

1. Can i go on nov 19 or 20 or should i really go back on the 23rd?

2. Will they give me nov 30 stamp or dec 30?

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user canceled their extension of stay stamp due to a canceled work permit and applied for a 60-day COVID amnesty stamp, receiving a consideration stamp valid until November 23. They asked if they could return earlier on November 19 or 20, and if they would receive a stamp valid until November 30 or December 30. Responses indicated that they should return on the date specified in their passport (November 23) and that they would receive a 60-day extension based on the date they applied, likely valid until January 7.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I might face the same situation soon.

Which box did you tick, for the reason of applying for the extension? Would be great to know if they accept your 60 Day COVID Extension request once you get back to immigration. All the best for you. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

You return to the immigration office on the date stamped into your passport (just like the stamp tells you to) so if it's Nov 23 then that's the date you go back.

You will get a 60 day extension dated from today(the date you applied for it so you should get stamped in until Jan 7th.
