What is the process for applying for a DTV dependent visa for a child born in Thailand?

DTV approved in Laos on a Saturday 😏🔥
Applied for a DTV dependent visa on Monday for my 3 month old son who was born in Thailand but is a British citizen.

I thought it would be a more complicated/messy application, as my wife and I are both women, but legally married and conceived our son via IVF, but he was born in Thailand 😂 etc.

It was a breeze.

✨2nd August - Got to Laos

✨3rd August - Made payment at the embassy

✨4th August - Request for additional documents which were birth certificate again and DTV of my wife who surprisingly isn’t the main DTV holder, I am!

✨8th August (Saturday)- Visa approved.

Yes I had the 500k and I had a sponsorship letter written as well. They wanted proof he was related to my wife so they requested the birth certificate. I’d say have your daughter’s birth certificate make sure it’s in English, the 500k and the sponsorship letter handy. All the best!

I submitted my payment on Tuesday and then just got approved today on Sunday. They didnt ask for any additional documents. Im not sure why. I went through a reputable visa agency tho. Less than a week
