Can someone clarify from personal experience how strict they are to see how long the 500k baht has been sitting in the account? If I just put that money into the account, let’s say a few weeks before I applied. Would that be a red flag or am I overthinking things?

Also, how strict are they with the income per month for a part-time freelancing gig? I was thinking to compensate for the low income of the freelancing gig, I would show more than the ฿500,000.

for DTV is it ok to show proof of funds in a wise account?

I'm currently way over 500,000 baht in bank account, but 2 months ago I was very slightly under. When I show my last 3 months bank statements, one of them is under. Has anyone been rejected for that? Should I just wait another month before I apply?

It has been made ABSOLUTELY clear to me, by my local Thai embassy (Manila), that for one to apply for a DTV, one is required to show evidence of regular income, over and above the half a million baht in one's bank account.

Obviously, if one has a regular income, one would probably use that fact to apply as a "digital nomad", rather than under the "cultural activity" or "medical" categories, so this visa seems to be a farce!

Should I reapply for DTVSIA in Jakarta, Indonesia, after being rejected in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam? How long should I wait before reapplying? I don’t know the exact reason for the rejection, but I suspect it may have been due to missing documents. I want to prepare everything properly and try again.
