Hi,

does anyone know if you can enter with an eVisa (Tourist TR) over a land border or seaport?

I mean, in theory, you are supposed to enter your flight details when applying for the eVisa, so not sure if the eVisa requires entry at an international airport or if they don't care at the land border offices.

To be more specific: has anyone entered with a Thai Tourist eVisa from Langkawi to Ko Lipe?

(the question is not for me, I am a German, but my wife is a Dominican Republic citizen)

Thanks, Chris

Which borders entry points are advisable for entering Thailand on a visa exemption stamp for someone with 3 sixty-day tourist visas in 2018/19?

I travel and spend long times outside Thailand, but last time I came in (Dec 28th 2018) I was questioned and warned at Suvarnabhumi. Now I'm worried coming back next week they'll see the warning and turn me away. I heard that getting a visa exemption via a land border is safer, is this right?

There are cash-requirements for entering the country, is any currency accepted or it has to be baht?

Is it better to enter in CM or BKK or DMK?

If I am correct, for a single person entering with a Tourist visa you can be asked for 20.000. If you get an Visa Exempt it is just 10.000. And I thought the best way to enter is by land, but not on the south border. But I will not use land this time.

I got a 1 year stay of Visa history, so they might ask funds. I mostly hear bad things about DMK. I am likely to enter without visa and go for the Visa Exempt. I am from Europe.
