If you’re planning to travel to Vietnam for DTV, don’t forget to check if you need a visa for Vietnam (especially if you’re from the USA, Australia, the UK, Switzerland, etc.).

I missed my flight today because of this—the airline couldn’t let me check in! 😆

I have a retirement visa ending early August. I am moving out of Thailand now and may not return before the expiry of the visa. Will it be a problem to return to Thailand as tourist. I hold a Swiss passport.

Does anyone know if the visa waiver (45 days) is extendable with an extra 30 days?

I arrived a few days ago and got 45 days visa waiver with a Swiss passport. My initial plan was to apply for the Malaysian digital nomad visa, but I realized I will need a bit more time to prepare all the documents. Therefore, I am thinking about staying longer in Thailand.

I'm currently in Krabi and can't go directly to the immigration in BKK to get more information. Anyone has an idea ?

Hey,

Is it possible at the moment to get an extra 30 days extention (after the regular 60+30 days), without a letter from the embassy (for a swiss passport)?

TIA!

Hey guys, did anyone get the ED visa (Thai language course) from the Thais embassy in Seoul , South Korea ?

Is it advisable to go there ? What’s their reputation?

Anyhow, where is the “best” embassy to go to at the moment in Asia ?

Swiss passport

Thanks in advance

I arrived in Bangkok on 4 January and got a visa on arrival with my Swiss passport. Is there any way I can change this to a tourist visa or just stay 45 days rather than 30?? Think not but hoping... Thanks for your insights!

Hello, if I understand well it is possible to live in Thailand all over the year just by getting a 30 visa exemption, then go to immigration for an additional 30days.

Take a fly out, come back get a 30days exemption and then go to immigration again and do it as much as we want?

I know it is possible to cross the border aswell twice by road but that is not my question.

I have a beautiful Swiss passport.

Thank you for answering :)
