Does the entry point into Thailand affect my visa application process from another city?Answered

Does it matter if I enter the country from Hanoi but I’ll go to Ho Chi Minh and apply from there ? Can I just show them Country Entry Stamp in Hanoi and Hanoi to HoChiMing flight tickets ?
