Giasai😉 Absolutely. Random immigration questions such as; 'How long you stay?' and 'What will you be doing while you are here?' apply everywhere and mean nothing. There are very few verifiable reports of anyone being denied entry with a DTV. In those cases, we have no way of knowing what triggered immigration to ask questions. Most likely, previous immigration history.

Agree! First entry at Phuket and Chiang Mai Airports with a DTV can involve filling up a Passenger Statement Form and sending application docs to an immigration email address. The form is simple and self-explanatory. The financial information required is; 1) Cash, 2) Money in bank and 3) Other. A couple of reports that people have been requested to do this later (5th and 6th entry respectively). There doesn't appear to be any trigger for this and some believe that the information you supply is used for statistical purposes only. For certain, nobody has been denied entry because of this.
