Guys this is the stamp I received at immigration for my Non O based on retirement. It looks somewhat different from others I’ve seen. Is the new way of stamping in line with e-visa? The bank is refusing to accept it as a Non O Visa
Hi, I’m visiting Thailand from Australia and did an e-visa for 84 days (expires early October) but at the airport my stamp at the airport has an expiry date of 10 Sept and hand written notation saying evisa. Do I need to worry? Thanks
In May 2025, I intentionally let my O retirement visa lapse. I was and am overseas so there was no overstay. I intend to go to Thailand for one week.
Should I expect any issues at the airport? Can I request a 7 day stamp? I don't want the IO to think that I am attempting to stay without the " proper" visa.
If I have a DTV with soft power in Bangkok, then travel to Thailand and take several flights within the country, will there be any problems? All I know is that in Samui, for example, I'll get an entry stamp. This will obviously be in my passport.
Hello, I have received my 90 day non O visa today via email but the start day is from today for 90 days. I wasn’t planning on going to mid April and put my intended travel dates as this on the application. Do they stamp this visa when I arrive and therefore get 90 days from them ?
Re-entered Thailand BKK today. Absolutely no problems. All I was asked was where I’m going and I shrugged: “probably Phra Nakhon”, and that was it. 6 months stamp which extends beyond when I know I’ll be travelling abroad again.
I want to go to and apply from HCMC in the coming days. I believe I have to show proof that I’m staying in the country. Ideally I want an Airbnb for two weeks, but when I asked chatgpt, it said that’s not really proof of longer term stay, like a rental agreement. Has anyone experience with this? Any recommendations?
I am going to get DTV in Jakarta my arrival date IS on the 23rd March, I already have all docs filled, should I pay now, or wait until I arrive to Jakarta on the 23rd?
Hello. I'm a US citizen, but currently in Thailand. My bank statements and proof of address are in the US. As I was looking at the DTV application, it's asking me to apply thru the US Los Angeles office. But since I'm in Thailand already now, I was planning to go to Cambodia and apply through the website there. But do I need to apply through a Cambodian office and provide proof of address in Cambodia? Or can I still apply thru the USA, since all of my documents that I submit will have my USA address?
