What is the fastest way to apply for a Non-B visa outside Thailand?
Looking for the fastes and easiest possibility to apply for a Non - B visa outside of the country. If anybody did it just recently, I would appreciate informations about days and if you needed to show up in person. I thought about Vietnam, KL or Penang… but open for good advice. 🙏 I really looking for the shortest possibility. I know different embassy have different timelines! So I super appreciate resent experience, no document guideline needed. Thank you

I am waiting for mine in Ho Chi Minh as we speak. I came here as website advertised 5 working days processing time, over Laos which says 5-10. However, re-request for documents has 'reset' the processing time, and there is no way to call or visit the consulate here. In hindsight, I wonder if Vientiane would have been quicker based on anecdotal reports of processing in a few days

I would not do Penang...as much as I loved all the visa run's back in t he day's to Penang and miss it a lot.

I did Penang in June. It was a pretty bad experience. 20 days total so about 15 working days with lots of requests for additional docs. I wouldn't recommend going there. It used to be so quick in the past...

I did at kl last week.. Submitted 2nd Aug and approved 13th Aug. In between requested for employer document and also scanned copy of passport including blank pages.

I'm on work non b visa... The company I work for just request my attested degree and not my transcript. Even my previous Bangkok employer only requested the degree certificate and not the transcriptReminance ***********

They could have allow us to upload everything at 1 go but they chose to request for these basic document 3 days after I had submitted ... For me, the delay was there 😔

There is no fastest or easiest. To apply for a Non-B visa to work inside Thailand you first need an employer in Thailand who needs to supply the paperwork you must have in order to apply.
