We applied through Chennai consulate/embassy. The process was simple and easy. All done online and received my approval in 7-8 days including weekend. My wife and daughter application was approved in 5-6 days. Only additional document they asked was updated photograph of my wife.

Our second year in Phuket on DTV now.

My bad, except for the cash deposit for DD in DBS Bank everything else was online. I just had to show the instructions for DD and bank staff did the rest.

I submitted my application first, then deposited 25,000 per applicant in DBS Bank in 48 hours, Application was updated with payment status within 1-2 working days and the next thing I knew was my visa got approved.

How was everything online? They are not taking the visa fee online right? When I applied, they asked me to go to bank, get a demand draft on embassy name and physically submit at their office and also said it would take approxmately 7 days to clear that DD and then only they start proceaaing application. Being 700kms away from Chennai, I abondened the process after submitting the online application.

Remote work. Submitted my US business documents and Content creator portfolio as proof of work.
