Hi everyone, I hope there is someone who can perhaps give me some visa advice. I am applying for a work visa (non-immigrant B which will be extended upon arrival in Thailand). My husband is moving with me and it seems that he should apply for a non-immigrant O visa (spouse) which will also be extended upon our arrival.

Now specifically I want to know more about his application on the eVisa site. It seems we need to select the option for him visiting family residing in Thailand even though we will go together?

The financial statements are another headache as we are unsure what exactly they need. Of course he will not be working in Thailand so there won’t be any further prove of income during our stay.

The visa process for him has us a little confused and any advice will be appreciated, including what my employer can help with and should we take the original marriage certificate with us to Thailand.

I have Applied for DTV visa via Evisa website in Kolkata Thai embassy.

I submitted all the documents on 28 March.

2 April 2025: payment Done

7 April 2025: Thailand embassy mailed for additional documents.

9 April 2025: Additional Documents submitted.

10 April 2025: DTV visa Approved.

Documents submitted:

1. Bank statement verified by bank (stamped and signed by bank)

2. Current Location proof: Aadhar Card and last stamp in Passport photo

3. Made a Work portfolio of my Company in a company letter head, stamped and signed by Directors (myself). Along with COI, Company GST.

Additional Documents:

Client Contract, and client payment details.

Approved.

When using your computer to navigate the non o retirement visa process ( evisa website )

How do you upload requested documents into the required fields

Should you take pics of passport and utility bills and bank statements onto your mobile device and then pair phone to pc and upload from there

Any further advice would be appreciated

Approved through US Consulate.

Applied Feb 18th. Requested additional documents March 3rd, Approved March 5th.

I applied online through the evisa site on the 18th through Workcation catagory.

I am self employed but did not have the funds required for the visa application so I had my dad sponsor me with his savings account.

Was initially worried about that being under workcation catagory but after I applied they just needed an employement verification letter signed (by myself) and they approved it.

I submitted:

Letter of Intent, Employment Contract, Proof of Work (Link to my site and invoices), Sponsorship Letter, Bank Statements (I used 6 months), Copy of My Dads Passport for ID verification, and Employment Verification Letter. I had already purhcased my flight and made a hotel reservation for my travels (March 31st is my flight out)

I wanted to say thank you to this group as I combed over tons of posts before submitting my application. I have never been anywhere outside of the US and Mexico (right across the border) but this has been a dream for going on 10 years now so I am so hyped to make it happen.

I used ChatGPT throughout my process to help me draft letters and follow the requirements with the DTV. I had ChatGPT make editable templates of all the letters I submitted if that would be helpful I put them here in a shareable folder (just make your own copy of them as needed).

I have Canadian friends coming to visit and they have read about the ETA but can't seem to find where on the evisa site to fill it out. Has it been officially deployed yet?

Hi, I searched the group but limited information comes up in regards to applying through the US New York consulate. I will be back in the US for 4-5 weeks over the holidays and I would like to know the processing time for the DTV or if I should plan on applying somewhere in SE Asia when I return. Thank you!

Hi! Does the condo lease contract require to apply DTV visa on Evisa website as remote worker?

Anybody been to KL in the last 2 weeks for non B visa processing? Heard it's taking a while now and you have to stay longer.
