Can I apply for a DTV visa while transitioning from my current freelance work?
Hello
For the last 12 months i have been an audio production freelancer in my home country (where im also currently based). I have monthy invoices , with coresponding weekly payments from one client. I'm keen to move to Thailand on the DTV later in the year to build my business and get more clients remotely. However once i go to Thailand, i won't be freelancing for this company anymore. I'll still have my business registered and have all other requirments regarding DTV (Savings, background check, ect)
If I applied now with those payslips and bank statements. Would I be approved ?

Your case is similar to some guys I work with who chose DTV (Freelance). The typical advice from our in-house travel office which uses a Thai agent is concentrate on the current work/contract status for the application including regular payments etc. and any supporting letter that varifies the current and continuous arrangement. So in other words that letter is needed before the fact rather than the client knowing your intentions. Any other potential future clients is also helpful with a letter of an intended deal etc.
