Hi everyone! 😊

I’m new to freelancing and I’ve recently started setting up my own business in France. I don’t have any income from my business yet, as I’m just getting started.

My goal is to develop my business while living in Thailand, and I would like to stay there for around one year.

I currently have the equivalent of around 1,000,000 THBin savings.

I was wondering if anyone here has been in a similar situation and could tell me if you think I have a chance of getting the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) despite not having any business income yet?

I can provide proof of my business registration and my savings, but I don’t have clients or invoices yet.

Any advice or experience would be greatly appreciated! 🙏🇹🇭

Sorry to say but you will more than likely need a lot more evidence of income, potentially a full tax years worth of to demonstrate that your business is viable and provides you with a salary that allows you to sustain yourself whilst living in Thailand for the duration the visa.

Well the op is going to have to show something to demonstrate income and more than a couple of months for a new self employed business, but I did say 'potentially' as a suggestion. Perhaps you can advise her more appropriately.

France requires invoicing from the previous 3 months.

In this case I think you have to apply through a soft skills such as cooking or Muay Thai. You ll have time to develop your business at the same time.
