Hello! Would love to hear from someone who has got a similar situation to me, who has experience of applying for the DTV visa.
I’d like to apply as a content creator. My main platform is YouTube where I make travel content. I don’t have a huge following, about 6k subscribers, and I am part of YouTube’s partner program, so I do monetize all my videos. However my YouTube revenue is currently very low. So relying on that alone would not be enough to live on. But I’m looking to grow my channel during my stay in Thailand and update my channel multiple times a week, (which increases the income.)
So when in the application they ask for annual income, I’m worried it might be low, even though I’ve read that there’s no minimum income requirement, only the 500.000 baht requirement.
Luckily, I have enough savings. I’ve got significantly more than the 500.000 THB required. More than double.
Would love some opinions on this case. If you have been in a similar situation, or know someone who has, if love to hear your experience.
Approved DTV Workcation in Oslo. Sent all the papers needed, I'm a Youtuber so I sent all the payment receipts of the last 7 months by Google. The application went smoothly, it took basically 2 days. They asked for 3 months statements from my bank, and to describe my work. All in all, it went great! 😊
Hi Everyone, Im currently applying for my DTV visa and was looking for some help if anyones in a similar case to me.
1. In regards to financial evidence, am I able to provide a invesment account statement?. I use wealthsimple and have monthly statements. I Have they money but its not liquid in my regular bank account as I invest it.
2. In regards to "Employment contract or employment certificate in their country or professional portfolio showcasing digital nomad, remote worker, foreign talent or freelancer status" I currently run a bunch of youtube channels and thats my job. Is there any other youtubers in here who have filled this out?
Youtube doesnt give contracts as we are essentially freelancers and are paid through Google adsense. However, I do have sponsorship contracts with companies. If anyone can help, I will love you forever.
I found this article in The Pattaya News email. While the definition of what the officials could apply to YouTube'ers, I get the feeling it is about somthing more serious, but doesn't go into detail. Does anyone know what this is all about?
