Just received my non o 1 year multiple entry visa from savannakhet embassy. It was easy and painless apart from the hour and a half wait In line for submission even with an appointment booked ....hopefully this is helpful Information for anyone else chasing this visa ...thanks to Todd and anyone else helping me choose here to make the visa cheers

Did anyone get the same problem as i am getting now with the non B visa at savannakhet.

I made an apointment on tuesday yesterday but unfortunately could not get into laos because our coach from surin was cancelled.

We are trying to booked another appointment but the embassy website keeps saying"your reservation have been successfully made" even though the appointment has passed already. So blocking us on making a new appointment. We tried calling the savannakhet embassy but the staff was incridibly unhelpful. Leaving us non the wiser as what to do.

May I know which embassy is easier for DTV? Vientiane or Savannakhet? I plan to drive across the border for the soft power option (cooking classes)

Dear Thai Visa community,

Today, I went to the Savannakhet Thai Embassy to apply for a Non-O visa as I have children. Unfortunately, I assumed everything was status quo and only learned about the new "No walk-ins" policy that came into effect on June 4th.

I'm now trying to create a reservation on the website they provided, but I don't see any openings for June. Is there an issue with my browser, or am I going to have to stay in Laos for a month?

I've attached a picture of what I'm seeing on the website. I would really appreciate any advice or guidance, as I would love to go back home as soon as possible. My wife and I have three small children, and being away from them is quite challenging.

They have stopped doing multi entry marriage at savanahket i have been this morning only single entry now or have to show financial statement 400.000 baht - they stopped doing it last week

Anyone know what's needed and which Thai embassy is easier to get the 90 days (1st time) and then the subsequent 1 year for the Guardian /Thai Child visa? Between Vientiane and Savannakhet? Any info on the process and which place is easier is greatly appreciated. Thank you guys.

I'm just after some advice please. I want to apply for the non immigrant o visa but my timings are tight for when our family wants to move to Thailand and when my new job starts in Asia. Ideally I want to apply to the Thai embassy online in London. But due to not knowing what date and flight I need to book at the moment I can't complete the application form as it asks for a flight number. We're either moving at the end of this month or August so I can't book myself a flight at the moment. It's straightforward for my wife and daughters as they'll just enter on Thai passports.

If I simply entered Thailand on a visa exemption with my UK passport what is the process I would need to do to then apply for a non immigrant o based on marriage once I'm in Thailand. We're moving to Udon Thani so nearest Thai embassies will be Vientiane or Savvanaket. In my first 30 days should I just cross the border into Laos with my wife and apply at one of these 2 embassies?

I’m currently on a visa extension from my TR-60. It will end on March 12. My plan is to stay in Thailand until June and I have a US passport. I‘m planning on going to Laos either to the Thai embassy in Vientiane or Savannakhet. I have two questions:

1. Should I apply for another tourist visa before March 12 or wait until after March 12 to apply?

2. Which embassy (Vientiane/Savannakhet) is easier to get visa approved?
