Does the September 1 check-in deadline apply to my NON-O Retirement Visa after leaving Thailand?

I'm looking for some advice. I have a NON-O Retirement Visa that has already been extended for 1 year. My first 3-month check-in with Immigration is on September 1. I left Thailand in July and purchased a re-entry permit from Immigration beforehand. Does the September 1 deadline still apply? If so, I’d have to return to Thailand in time. Or does the specified deadline expire in that case? Thank you very much.
Answer summary
If you hold a NON-O Retirement Visa and have obtained a re-entry permit, your initial check-in date of September 1 still applies, provided you return to Thailand before this date. If you do not return by then, you may face issues with your visa status or be required to reapply for your visa upon return.
