Has anyone left the country within the first year on an O-X visa that can advise on their experience with insurance? Do you need to show proof of coverage for the next 12 months when you fly back in?

I am intending to apply for the O-X soon but will be making trips out of the country to do some travel occasionally, most likely every 6 months or so

Can I just confirm my understanding:

I have an OA-Visa valid Oct 15 2021 to Oct 14 2022. (issued Australia including re-entry)

I arrived Thailand 18 November 2021 with 12 months to 8 November 2022. (The odd 8 November date is because of insurance issues at time of issue).

I want to go out of Thailand and return before the relevant date to get another 12 months on the *original visa*.

I want to go briefly mid September, so I understand I will get another 12 months assuming I have relevant insurance to September 2023, and Thai Pass, and any other new requirements etc)

I also want to travel out of Thailand October 13-20 2023. This return date is after the date of the *original visa* end date.

If I ALREADY have the new date of September 2023, am I correct that

(a) it is still multi-entry for this new period, and

(b) the original visa date of Oct 14 2022 is no longer relevant, and that the effective visa end date is STILL September 2023 (based on the exit in September 2022)?

Thanks.
