TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are returning to Thailand with a Non-OA multiple entry visa, you will need to present insurance that complies with the visa's requirements (40,000 - 400,000 coverage). Thai insurance is not mandatory unless you apply for a one-year extension within Thailand. Make sure to have a digital copy of your insurance documents or ask your insurance provider to send you an electronic version, as you will need to show proof of insurance to immigration and for the Thailand Pass. Ensure to check the Thai Embassy website for approved insurance companies.

We did our insurance for our visa obtained in Sydney with a Thai company AXA no problems did it all online. You need insurance to get into Thailand check out the Thai Embassy Sydney website they have a list of insurance companies you can use. No problems.

You will need to show your insurance to immigration and for Thailand Pass. Or you will be denied. Can anyone take clear photo of your insurance papers and email to you? Or did you not keep a digital copy if your insurance, when you applied for your visa? Failing that, contact your insurance company and ask them to email you, insurance certificate.

Also, You don't need Thai insurance, just insurance that matches the requirements of the Non-OA (40k-400k). You only need a Thai policy if you apply for a 1 year extension inside Thailand.

You need insurance with the Non-OA. Immigration will stamp you in for however long your insurance is valid for.
