I am on an initial 90-day non-immigrant B visa for teaching. I do not have a work permit. I'm changing jobs and will need to leave the country and return. Do I need to get my non-imm B visa stamped at immigration saying that it has been canceled? Or will it cancel on it's own when I leave. Thanks to You
I received my Non-B visa last week, and my work permit is currently being processed. However, due to certain reasons, I need to change to another company. The new company informed me that their processing will take about one month.
I would like to ask:
Is it possible to stop the work permit process with my present company?
If so, can I remain in Thailand with the current Non-B visa for one month while waiting for the new company's documents, even without a valid work permit during that time?
Can I transfer the Non-B visa from my current company to the new company within Thailand?
Hello, I’ve been on a DTV for around 7 months but have now gotten a job opportunity, I’m wondering if anyone has any experience converting the DTV to Non B within Thailand, my lawyer seems to think I need to do a border bounce and come back on visa exempt to then convert it, but I’ve read that you can convert it from a DTV as it’s technically a multiple entry visa… Let me know, thanks.
Has anyone here managed to buy a car on credit with a DTV visa? I’ve heard of people who’ve done it, but only through second-hand stories. Maybe someone here has actually gone through it themselves? I have a couple of questions — what challenges did you face, how did you solve them? Was a Thai guarantor needed? And so on.
Hi good morning, just wanna ask if my girlfriend holds a work permit in thailand and I am on DTV visa will it be possible for us to open a joint bank account? If yes, which bank is possible? Thank you in advance 🙏
