I had a work permit and an agent throughout the WP process. Year 2 of WP, I had to go to Chamchuri Square on my own for the 90-day reporting (agent stopped holding my hand). I mixed up the reporting deadline dates and overstayed one day. Went the following day, paid the 2000 baht fine and everything was fine from then on (yes, I got the black mark in my passport, but have since renewed my passport and it's not in the new passport).
I've been in thailand for 5 months (1 visa run with short overstay). Tried to open a company and get a wp but got scammed (hence the overstay).
im considering going for a few months to bali, applying there and coming back on DTV.

How have people managed to get a post paid sim registered to their name? True move told me I need a work permit, which I think might be BS. Bangkok bank didn’t warn me before deleting my accounts yesterday just as I was trying to pay for something 😜
I’m 19 years old and looking to stay in Thailand long term as an English teacher. I am American native English speaker. I will have my 120 hr tefl certification in three weeks. I’d much rather prefer to tutor but if I needed to teach in a school I could do that. I don’t have 800,000 thb saved but I could borrow it for 24hrs to show them a bank statement. Any ideas?
Hi all. I fly to Cambodia on April 27 to apply for my DTV. I'm currently on a work visa/permit. The company I was with told me since I'm leaving Thailand on a Sunday (April 27), that it will most likely follow the business days and cancel on the Monday after I leave. I was planning to submit my application on Sunday night tho. Do you think it's ok since they most likely won't see it till Monday morning? Or should I wait till Monday? Or should I wait an extra day, just to be sure the other visa is really cancelled?
Hi all. The school that I was working for is planning to cancel my work permit. Is it correct that my visa will automatically be canceled, too? Is there anything that I must do before going for a boarder run? The school isn't helping me to explain this thoroughly.
I have my non-immigrant B visa, work contract and I am a direct hire to my employer but I dont have any working permit.... Do I need to get an OEC before travelling from Philippines to Thailand? or am I exempted since Im still not an OFW and I dont have my working permit yet? 🙏
