Professional Athlete training in Thailand. Is this considered "foreign talent" for the purpose of the application?

Has anyone canceled a DTV then to apply for a business visa with work permit? My Thai friend wants to hire and partner with me for a position and is offering a work permit.

I am in the process of changing jobs. I had to return on a tourist visa and now I have my work permit approval and have been told to make an appointment at the Thai embassy in Laos for getting non-B visa. Their website keeps crashing but seems to only route you to evisa page. Is application done online now in order to make appointment? And can I start the process now from within Thailand? (requests document proof of current location)

I heard it is possible to apply for a dtv visa if we already have a Thai business. A business visa + dtv visa would do the trick as long as we don’t sell in Thailand. Is there someone who knows about it ? Any experience ?

Anyone have experience transitioning from Business Visa to DTV?

Any complications around it? I know you have to cancel the work permit before applying but just want to make sure I understand any complications.

I have bank proof and freelance employment contract. I heard that to get DTV right after work permit could be difficult. Is that true does anyone applied for that? I want to apply in Vietnam
