Is it very complicated to add a Work Permit to a Non o Marriage visa? I understand it is possible to do and I would not need a Non B Visa
Answer summary
Adding a Work Permit to a Non-O Marriage Visa in Thailand is possible and does not require a Non-B Visa. However, the complexity can vary depending on individual circumstances and documentation. Generally, applicants must provide supporting documents, including proof of relationship, financial stability, and potentially a medical checkup, to facilitate the process.

Not all that hard at all, you need a job and documentation from your employer to go to the ministry of labor and apply for the work permit
As Ellie said though, some employers just won't give you the support documents when you're on a non o visa/extension because they have no leverage over you, like they would if you were on a non B
You need a job first then your employer will sort it.
You just need to have the marriage extension and a job or be employed by your officially registered Thai company with 2 Thai employees per work permit and of course hold a position that isn't on the prohibited occupations list.
It is not that complicated, but it is something you cannot do on your own. Your employer needs to prepare the documents and application. Whether they will do it on your Non-O depends on your contract with your employer. You need to talk with them first...
