Hello all, I'm shortly moving to Thailand and currently have a non-o visa due to my wife's job. I'm now considering if it would be possible to continue my current UK based full remote project management role from Thailand. Thankfully my employer is happy but I'm unsure about work permits.

It appears I have a few options to allow legal working

- DTV - is not available yet and only last 180 days

- LTR - not sure I will meet the conditions

- Use a POE service which appears expensive but can assist securing a non-b visa.

Does anyone have experience of a PEO service, are they legal?

Am I missing any other options?

Thanks all

Hello, I’m coming to Thailand on a visa that doesn’t allow me to work. If I offer coaching services on a donation basis only does that make any difference? Or would it still be seen as working without a permit?

Hello! I am seeking advice on what professional activity can be done with an O Visa and if it is possible to start a company in Thailand with this Visa O, and any ways to start it without the 3M thb requirement for foreigners? I used to hold F Visa before. I would appreciate any advice or reference to reliable lawyers that could help.

Hi,

I would like to know what options are available... I have been offered to help out at my Thai friend's shop/restaurant and help the staff there with their English. Is it possible to get a volunteer visa for this kind of work? Or do I need a proper work permit? Is it possible to do this work legally?

Thanks in advance🙏

Hi All, thinking about applying for a multiple-entry Non-Imm 'O' visa based on having a Thai child at a neighbouring Thai consulate? Are Savannakhet and HCMC still doing these? What are their requirements? Can I get a work permit whilst on this kind of visa?

Thanks in advance. :)

Is there anyone working as an American in Thailand? I could really use some advice as I try to move myself as a freelancer out to Thailand. Lived there before but dealing with immigration and paperwork is always such a hassle. If I go back out will be permanent. Yes I know about elite Visa. But it's big number of commitment and details of how to get it seem sketchy as there are many agencies offering it. Thank you 🙏

We had work permits in Thailand until mid August, then had amnesty and then a letter from the embassy, so good until Nov 30. What, if any, visa options do we have in Thailand after that? We have work permits for another country, but that country is currently closed, so we are trying to stay put in Thailand until that happens. The kids are still in school here and we're still renting the same house we've lived in for four years. Do we have any options? Thanks in advance.
