Has anyone tried applying while being both a freelancer and an employee And does anyone know if additional documents were required, or if they were rejected because of it?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around applying for a visa in Thailand while holding dual status as a freelancer and an employee. One commenter mentioned applying recently as a freelancer and encountering requests for additional employer-related documentation, indicating a possible preference from authorities for applicants to be classified as employees. Another user suggested that having a single source of income might suffice for the application, emphasizing simplicity. Additionally, there was a reminder to ensure that both employment types have the necessary permissions for online work within Thailand.
I applied 2 weeks ago as a freelancer (with ample evidence) and they asked me for additional employer-related documentation, so I presume that means they would prefer you to be an employee rather than a freelancer to make their lives easier.

Make sure that both as well as the free lance employee and the employee have permission to work on-line while being inside Thailand.

Does a single source of income exceed their requirements? If so, I'd only submit that. No need to make it complicated.
