Hello. UK passport amd METV. Things seem to change so quickly so wanted to check, can i extend for 30 days at immigration per 60 day entry or can i only extend for 30 days once per year now ? Conflicting rumours !. Thanks
Answer summary
You can extend your METV visa by 30 days at immigration for each entry. However, the approval is at the discretion of the immigration officer, and while there is no defined limit on the number of extensions, you should note that if your total presence hits 150 days, it's subject to additional scrutiny. It's advisable to apply for the extension well before your stay exceeds this timeline.

There is no limit to the extensions (1 par entry), but after you hit the 150 day presence you are up to the immigration officer that he will still will allow you or what time he will allow you
David Warburton You heard wrong. There's no one extention of stay per year rule, however each application is only granted at the discretion of the Immigration Office where you apply.
