Hi Guys, I am entering Thailand with my authorised 90 day Non-Immigration ‘O’ Visa and will hopefully be converting same to a Retirement Visa once I am in Thailand! The one question I have is do I need a return flight ticket or will a one way ticket into Thailand be ok for me to pass through Immigration at Bangkok International Airport without any problems? Your advice is both welcome and appreciated. Many Thanks.
Hi, I hope some of you can help. I have just applied for a dependency following my husband who is a teacher here. I was told to come back to receive my stamp in 3 weeks, once it has been processed.
A few days later the visa assistant who is helping me has said that I may only be a 3 month visa I receive. That I would then have to put through all the same paperwork again to apply for a 1 year visa.
I am just unfamiliar with this. Can anyone tell why this would be?
When applying for a non-immigration (teaching) visa, I have been told that the No Objection Certificate to travel that I get from my current overseas school needs to include working position and salary at my new school in Thailand. Can anyone please confirm this?
Getting my new passport before leaving BKK on 26th Aug. My Non-immigration re-entry permit expires on 27th Aug and it is on my old passport. Do I need to get the non-imm re-entry permit transferred to my new passport before I leave on 26th Aug? No travel plans until then. Planning to apply a new OA before coming back to BKK. TIA.
We will be traveling as a family - two adults and two children.
What is the best solution for applying for a visa for a trip of 78 days? Is it a 60 day multiple entry visa, where you have an "exit" ticket after 60 days? Or are there other and much better solutions. Thanks in advance.
Can non-immigration-based visas still 'covid extend' if their current extension expires before March 25th?
I came to Thailand with a non-immigration visa. I got a covid-extension in January and the extension is expiring this March 2nd.
The new covid-extension ruling (couple of weeks old) states that non-immigration-based visas can no more be 'covid' extended, and the 'start' date for the new ruling is March 25th.
Quick questions. If I am staying at a hotel is my location advised to immigration through their hotel registration process????? And if I stay here permanently doe I still need to do the TM30???? And the 90 day reporting???
My non-immigration visa expires on 10 November and I would like to extend my visa. I have a letter from my embassy to support this. Would you know of any other documents that I need to provide and can you confirm where do I get this done ?
