I’m sorry if this question has been asked many times….. I can’t find my answer. Apologies.

I fly back to Bangkok tomorrow 24th. Uk citizen my 60 day visa free runs out 8th of February. Could some one help and tell me where name of building, location I have to go to to get 30 day extension.

I believe I need….. money, yes of course

Pass port photos.

Complete a form whilst I’m there.

Proof of residence. Will my booking.com confirmation be enough. I’m staying in regular modest hotels I tend to stay a week? Will a booking.com booking form say for seven days be ok?

Many many thanks for any help.

Thanks and regards to all.

PS

Correction. Poor choice of words moreover poor punctuation in the above. Apologies. I’m already in Thailand. As it happens in airport as I type flying to Bangkok. I’m here VISA FREE 60 days, i want to extend my stay by thirty days. Apologies for any confusion I may have caused, and any waste of time for people who have already been kind enough to help.

Regards to all.

What should one do if they receive an email from the Thai Consulate asking again for “need accommodation proof in thailand” even though these were already included in the application?

In my case, the original submission already had:

– a confirmed one-way flight ticket to Bangkok

– hotel booking confirmation from booking.com (completely refundable) for the first two weeks in Bangkok

Just want to know if this is a standard follow-up, then what to share with them, or if I should resend the same documents separately.

Question about immigration requiring receipt for accommodation that includes hotel's taxpayer number [Tourist visa application] - - -

Hi there peeps!

When you apply for a tourist visa to come to Thailand, the 6th written requirement on the checklist is - '**Proof of payment for accommodation for the whole period of stay in Thailand

(the receipt must state the tax payer number of the relevant

hotel/accommodation)'....**

But from my experience when you book a hotel in Thailand through Agoda, Agoda does not usually give you a 'tax invoice' but rather a 'booking confirmation' instead [which does not include the hotels tax number].

If you have recently applied for a Tourist visa, did you only show a 'booking confirmation' or did you also have to produce an actual tax invoice?

Thank you! (🌸◡‿◡)

Is there a specific document that needs to be uploaded to prove hotel booking for thai pass / phuket sandbox application? I booked directly with the hotel through their site.

Having trouble communicating directly with hotels on Test and Go packages - not to mention horrible delays in response on reservation inquiries, lack of complete information, won't answer questions, etc. And now, I'm down to the complete wire needing this done asap. Question: is it really unacceptable to do an Agoda booking and upload that? Has anyone had success on Thai Pass with a third party booking platform, or is it all done directly with the hotel?

For those of you that have successfully received your Thailand pass, what kind of proof did your hotel provide?

I am hearing that some SHA+ hotels provide a SHABA form with a SHABA reservation ID whereas some other SHA+ hotels just provide a confirmation letter with a normal reservation ID.

Is either one valid?

Also, did you have to provide any specific proof regarding the inclusion of a PCR test in your SHA+ package, or was the letter/form from the hotel sufficient?

I will submit my application tomorrow and would like to make sure that I have the correct paperwork.

Thanks for your help.

Greetings,

Has anyone used Agoda to book the full ASQ package?

No problem to be recognized by the authorities to get the COE?

Are Airbnb reservations accepted as proof of accommodation when applying for a 60 day Thailand Tourist Visa? That is to say, can they be submitted with the Visa application to show one's travel plans in Thailand?

I'm going to Vientiane for my Non O visa tomorrow, could someone please tell me if I've missed something off the booking website because there doesn't seem to be any confirmation or ref number to prove my booking. What's the procedure on arrival? Thanks in advance.
