What are the recent changes to Thai Tourist E-Visa requirements regarding travel bookings and tickets?
With the Most Recent Updates to the Thai eVisa Website, not only was the DTV E–Visa modified to include additional requirements, but also the Tourist E–Visa was modified on the Thai eVisa Website
Previously, for Tourist E–Visa Applications had asked for Flight itinerary or Travel itinerary, but now, it is « Travel Booking Confirmation » as a mandatory required Upload as part of the initial Tourist E–Visa Application
Going forward, is it prudent to give advice about booking and paying for Actual Flight Tickets, but say, Fully Refundable Flight Tickets, rather than past advice about Thai Tourist E–Visa to just advise to input "planned flights" or "planned flight itinerary" for Entry into and Exit out of Thailand?

So does that mean that even if I apply for a DTV visa, say under the Soft Power Muay Thai track, I still need proof of a ticket with both outbound and return flights? I originally planned to book only after the DTV was approved😅

Similar to the Myanmar tourist e-visa then, whereby you basically need to book your flights and accommodation (lodging) BEFORE you apply for your visa because both are uploaded to the system.

Wannikea Wanblee it's all the same, it is from the recently updated standard e-visa application which is used by EVERY Thai embassy and consulate. . . the old menu that showed "intended date of flight" and "intended date of departure" is no more

Also they need a pdf of the actual ticket. Dates/times and name must be clearly visible. A screenshot of the app on your phone is not acceptable, even though names and dates etc are visible.

Derek Malone mine was declined. You need to show the part that says ticket and receipt. Otherwise it will come back to you.

It was always fully paid and confirmed flight tickets both for the DTV and TR visas for my country embassy (Korea).
I think only some embassies in SEA were more lenient about that?
