ORIGINAL POSTERBorder Bounce for DTV from Pattaya - why are van companies charging more for DTV border bounces to Cambodia than normal visa runs? The van company in Soi 6 at Queen Victoria Inn charges 3,900 baht for a normal visa run but if you've got a DTV it's 5,700 baht because the border officials require more money because you get 180 days with a DTV. Anyone else experiencing the same when doing DTV bordet bounces?

I’ve been in Thailand since 2022 with visa free stamp and always doing border bounces every 60 days.
What happens if you get denied at the border? Can you just apply for a tourist visa right away?
Any recommendation will be helpful

ORIGINAL POSTERI have a border bounce coming up shortly. Phuket to KL return same day. On arrival at KL Airport is it advisable to get stamped in then stamped out again or is it ok to just exit the aircraft on arrival into KL, look for the gate of the departure flight back to Phuket and just go to that departure gate and wait thus bypassing their onerous Immigration. TIA.👌

ORIGINAL POSTERFlew into Thailand 5/30 /24 went to Immigration 6/27 / 24 in Sisaket got a 30 day extension officer there said i could do a border bounce to Laos and get another 30 days . He also said at end of that 30 days I could return to Sisaket for one more 30 day extension. Reason was only one border crossing all other entry was at airports. My understanding was 90 days max , his answer would give me 120. Don’t want to do an overstay and have. Flexible air tickets I need to change if I’m staying. Anyone have the right answer? TIA🙏🏻
